The HDPE Base Plate provides an ideal solution for load distribution on flat roofs with a pitch of up to 5°. The Base Plate has a surface area of 100 x 200 mm and weighs 0.34 kg. It is manufactured from high quality UV resistant HDPE to ensure great stability. The absence of plasticizers makes it compatible with any standard roofing membrane. Up to three additional Base Plates per rail can be installed, optimising the load distribution. For an accurate design, the coefficient of friction can be precisely determined using the FLA coefficient of friction measuring kit. The Base Plate thus combines cost-effectiveness, safety and durability in a compact solution for PV installations on flat roofs.
