The Base Plate XL HDPE connects two Basic Frames and can be combined with the standard Base Plate within the SL Fast Flat system. This allows the creation of an approximately 150 mm wide maintenance walkway, which can be adapted flexibly to the specific installation layout. The XL Base Foot does not need to be installed at every position. Its larger design can reduce the number of additional components required, helping to minimise installation time and effort. The Base Plate is designed to distribute loads on flat roofs with pitches of up to 5°. The support surface of the Fast Flat Base Plate XL HDPE measures 100 × 200 mm. It is manufactured from UV-resistant, plasticiser-free HDPE and ZM430 galvanised steel. The HDPE material is compatible with common roofing membranes and is suitable for long-term outdoor use. For precise system planning, the coefficient of friction can be determined using the FLA Coefficient of Friction Measurement Kit.
