The trapezoidal fastener Trapez 4 is an innovative solution for mounting solar modules on trapezoidal sheet metal roofs. The flexible fastener is unaffected by the geometry of the trapezoidal sheet metal and, because it is installed on the rib, it offers optimum accessibility and distance to the water-bearing layer. The pre-assembled, UV-resistant EPDM gasket provides a reliable seal during the installation process. In addition, the connector has an integrated plastic spacer that allows for optional sliding of the rail to compensate for thermal expansion. The TRAPEZ 4 connector is conveniently attached from the top for a quick and easy installation. Self-tapping screws with EPDM washers and a Potential Equalization Plate are available separately. High UV and corrosion resistance, as well as tested lightning current carrying capacity, provide additional safety and durability.
