The Coefficient of Friction Measuring Kit is an essential tool for accurately determining the coefficient of friction, an important factor in calculating the ballasting of PV systems on flat roofs. The kit includes a precision spring scale for measuring tensile forces up to 1000 g. The spring scale is made of anodised aluminum and has an easy-to-read scale, zero setting and tare function. The Königsberg friction block (1 kg) ensures accurate measurements in conjunction with various test documents. These include an EPDM mat, two building protection mats (AKSK and SK) and a plastic mat to simulate realistic conditions for the surface of the Base Plate.
