The Suntrack® TCU (Tracker Control Unit) is the core of every smart tracking solution. It controls the tracker motor based on an integrated sun-position algorithm, minimizing the angle of incidence of sunlight on the modules. Equipped with a 3-axis accelerometer, it accurately measures the module tilt, enabling precise motor control. With features such as 3D backtracking, winter mode, i-Stow® (storm position), and i-Flood (flood protection), the TCU offers maximum flexibility and yield security. The Suntrack® TCU is compatible with all common PV module types and ensures optimal module alignment in a wide range of environmental conditions—for maximum energy yields with minimum control effort.
