As part of the PV Guided Tour at Intersolar Europe, Ludwig M. Schletter presented SL Rack's latest products directly at their stand in the midst of the trade fair activities.
One highlight was the flat roof racking system SL Fast Flat, which is constantly being updated with new components. The new lightning protection clamp is particularly noteworthy as it is compatible with copper and aluminum wires that have diameters of 6, 8, and 10 mm. It works for both, pitched and flat roofs. Another highlight is the new Base Plate with a slotted hole, offering a flexible connection, for example with an anchor, thus providing secure and stable connections. A special stainless-steel Base Plate is used for green roofs, combining corrosion resistance with a high load-bearing capacity.
And there's some news for pitched roofs, too. Roof replacement panels need to be installed on roofs with a pitch of at least 15 degrees. The new Delta-Plate is a rigid replacement panel for Frankfurt tiles, making installation easier and more precise. Its well-thought-out design, pre-assembled hook, and adjustable height ensure a quick and secure installation, resulting in a strong connection.
New to the SL Rack portfolio is the SL Tracker! A self-locking gear secures its position. The central drive is powered by a 35-watt motor. The racks are highly expandable, as transmission forces are low. The tracker can be set from 90° to 0° in just six minutes, making it ideal for use in strong winds. The 90° position is especially beneficial in the agrivoltaics sector. The modules won't be damaged if agricultural machinery drives underneath them.
